Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Case Leak Confirms Phone’s Design

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is still a few months away, but leaks have already started building excitement. The latest leak gives us a closer look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s design, and it looks like Samsung might be making some big changes this time.

Galaxy S26 Ultra Could Feature a Camera Island

Reliable tipster Ice Universe has shared an image of the Galaxy S26 Ultra in a protective case on X (formerly Twitter). The case design shows raised lips around the rear cameras, strongly suggesting that Samsung is introducing a camera island design.

This would bring the Galaxy S26 Ultra in line with the rumored Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Pro, both of which are also expected to feature a similar camera bar. Interestingly, the back of the S26 Ultra seems inspired by the Galaxy S25 Edge, with three main cameras placed together while two other lenses sit separately, just like on older Galaxy S models.

Slim Bezels and Classic Samsung Touches

The leaked image also shows slimmer bezels, giving the phone a more modern edge-to-edge look. On the front, you can spot a small punch-hole selfie camera, while the power and volume rockers remain on the right side of the frame. The case itself appears to be a hybrid bumper unit from an unknown brand, but it gives us a fair idea of what to expect.

Performance and Charging Upgrades

Beyond the design, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to bring faster 60W charging support, a big jump over previous models. However, Samsung is likely keeping the battery capacity at 5,000mAh, which has been standard for its Ultra devices.

Galaxy S26 Lineup May Drop the “Plus” Variant

Another interesting leak suggests Samsung is simplifying its lineup. The “Plus” variant may be discontinued, with the standard Galaxy S26 expected to be rebranded as the Galaxy S26 Pro. If this leak holds true, the series will consist of three models:

  • Galaxy S26 Pro
  • Galaxy S26 Edge
  • Galaxy S26 Ultra

Expected Launch Timeline

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series in January 2026 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Although the brand hasn’t revealed the exact release date or full specs yet, more leaks will likely surface in the coming months.

With a fresh design, faster charging, and a simplified lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be one of Samsung’s biggest upgrades in years.
