iOS 26 Developer Beta 7 launched: Check out new features and changes for iPhones
Apple has started rolling out iOS 26 Developer Beta 7 along with its new iPhones. This update is now in the final testing phase and its build number has increased from 23A5318f to 23A5326a. So let’s know what’s new in this new beta update.
What’s new in iOS 26 Beta 7?
1. New Adaptive Power Notification toggle
In the previous beta, Apple previewed Adaptive Power Mode, which helps save battery life. Now in Beta 7, a new Adaptive Power Notification toggle has been added inside Settings > Battery > Power Mode.
- Turning it on will notify you when performance is adjusted to save battery.
- These adjustments will include things like Low Power Mode being on or decreasing screen brightness.

2. New Drafts filter in Messages app
iOS 26 Beta 7 also brings a small but useful change to the Messages app. Now a new option of Drafts will be available in the “Filter By” section, so that you can easily see incompletely written unsent messages.
3. Dark background in Control Center
No major changes have been made to the Liquid Glass UI this time, but the blurred background of Control Center has become slightly darker than before, making the visuals look clearer.
4. Blood Oxygen support returns to Apple Watch
With iOS 26 Beta 7, Apple has reactivated Blood Oxygen Monitoring support for Apple Watch, which was previously discontinued in the US.
Other updates
In addition to iOS 26, Apple has also released Developer Beta 7 for iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26 and visionOS 26.
Along with this, the company has also launched Public Beta 4 of iOS 26, which has the same features as in Developer Beta 7.
How to install?
Beta testers enrolled in the Developer or Public Beta programs can install the latest iOS 26 Beta by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update > Update Now.
